CRLA Virtual Conference Option

This year, in addition to the traditional conference in Baltimore, CRLA is offering a Virtual Conference option. The virtual conference option will allow participants access to the live streamed general sessions, select con-current during the conference, as well as additional sessions and content presented on November 16, 2023.

Refunds

Requests for refunds of conference registration (for both on-site and virtual conference options) must be made in writing and formally submitted with a time stamp prior to October 16, 2023; written requests not time stamped by October 16 will not be honored unless they are requested as a result of serious illness, death in the family, or other unforeseeable emergency. Requests due to unforeseeable emergencies made after December 7, 2023, will not be considered.

Requests to change registration from on-site to virtual will be considered as a cancellation, and may incur a cancellation processing fee.

All cancellation requests will be reviewed and processed no later than December 18, 2023. There is a $50 processing fee for refunds. Payments for Pre-Conference Institutes, tours, or the LACM breakfast cannot be refunded at any time because CRLA commits to pay for these activities in advance based on the number of attendees registered. Payments by institutions will be refunded to the institutions, and payments made by individuals will be returned to the individual. Deadline & Payment

Participants are encouraged to register early to secure tickets to conference events that have limited seating, such as Pre- Conference Institutes, tours, and special events with a meal provided. Payment may be made by personal or institutional check or by credit card (MasterCard or Visa). Those registering for the conference need to meet the conference deadlines listed on page 13.

Only those who register and make payment within the Early Registration period will receive the early discounted rates. In order to qualify for the Early Registration rates, payment along with the registration receipt must be received on or before October 16. Regular registration rates for both the in-person and virtual conference options are effective September 26-October 16.

Registrations received after October 16 will be adjusted to account for On-Site Registration rates and the participant must make payment (either by personal or institutional check or credit card) at the on-site registration desk before receiving any registration materials.

NOTE: Meals are not included when registering on site, as the hotel requires advanced confirmation. Unfortunately, the cost cannot be adjusted. Because of this, CRLA encourages registration prior to October 16, 2023.
